Summer Trip

Finally, I can online without worrying about the speed limit. For now.

I will only be blogging once a week, twice if I have the time during weekends. So, look out for the life that I have been going through. Life has been quite fun and pretty hectic. For next week, I have 2 assignments to hand up, 2 exams, 4 tutorial questions to do before tutorial classes, MCW meeting to attend to and Mambo Night on Friday. Sigh, I'm still here blogging when I haven't even started a thing.

Ever since the bond of our friendship became stronger, we have decided on this. Hanging out together as a group every once a week. Either on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We have been going to places trice for 3 consecutive weeks now and these outings will not stop until our mid exams draw closer, which practically a month from today. I was supposed to blog about my first trip last week, but things caught up and I hadn't had the time to do it, so I'm taking the opportunity to write about it now.

The night before the trip, we hung out at a friend's place cause she was having some sort of open house. We had the usual party food; pizza, soft drinks, junk food and cookies. We played Taboo. Speaking of Taboo, though I had played with my college friends during Camerons, it's still the first time I have ever participated for real wey! I usually don't like playing games, or rather be in charge for it. But, this time.. I managed to make them guess, and to think of words to say in 60 seconds.
Also, we watched 2 movies. House Bunny and I am Sam. I am Sam is really heart warming, the sacrifices of a down syndrome father for her daughter can really touch your heart. Oh oh, Dakota Fanning acted in that movie!!

The girls stayed overnight at her house while the guys went back about 9 plus.
Emkay and I slept in the living room and she was ranting all about counting the stars and sleeping under the moonlight. =P Haha, I know you will be reading this.

Rottnest Island

It was a trip organized by ISS and my gang, consisted of 8 people out of 33 of them is the largest so far. We immediately owned the entire trip right from the beginning. It was the most exciting trip ever made for this year! The last time I've ever been to such and island was with my college friends, Pulau Perhentian last year.

Left Back Row: Chin, Henri, ignore the bald guy in our group trip, Herrick, Jason Left Back Row: Annette, Emkay, Me, YuJia

ISS committee

The ferry to the island

Damn nice shot by the PRO me.

Us with one of the ISS's committee

As stated, welcome to Rottnest Island

Two emo girls

Guess who?

Us of course!

Ready, 1..2..3..

Jump!!!!

Huge anchor

While them having some talk about the trip, we were busy taking photos.

And I couldn't resist. Me, monkey ganas. =D

While the person giving a tour around the island.. we took a photo.

Red Rooster for lunch, under the trees. Guess what? I kenaaaaaaa bird shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wtf!!! Bird shit. Eeewwwww! 2nd time in my whole life!!!

After lunch, the group is divided into two. Some of us went cycling and the others went for a bus tour to see the quokkas. Quoakkas are rats. This island is originally named as Rattnest Island but they renamed it after some time to Rottnest. Oh woah, I listened during the tour talk.
What better more to cycle around the island than to see the rats right?

I love this shot. I took them while I was cycling okay.

Stopping for a while to take photo of the scenery. The road was really bumpy and sometimes we had to go up the hills and down.

Group photo

First stop, first beach. My gang is the only people who went all the way down to here just to take photos.

Second stop, second beach

Told you we owned the trip right? We were the only ones who went down... and...

you really wanna know????

Our signature jump shot.

YuJia taking for us when the waves splashed on us.

We took our bloody time in the beach while the rest of the group had to wait for us. I'm sure some of the people were frustrated with us cause we were in the beach for a realllyyyy long time.

Surrounded by cockles

Third stop. We were too tired to go down.. so all we did was...

Another group photo

Luckily my group are the ones who love to take photos.

The best lane to cycle cause it was really rocky and bumpy. Cool right to cycle and to enjoy the scenery at the same time.

A photo while cycling. I am so pro.

Our finishing stop, the lighthouse.

After more than 3 hours cycling, we took the ferry back to Fremantle to head home to university. Wrong. We didn't head back right away, instead we stopped by at Fremantle to have Fish and Chips for dinner.

Sweetlips. Another famous Fish and Chips shop.

I tried raw oysters and I vowed to myself not to try ever again.

Seafood Tray

Last group photo after the sunset.

Taken by the pro me, of course.

The best trip ever, but not the last. Look out for my next post!

Taboo words for my gang: Handphone, camera, water, and beach. Thanks to Henri. Like what Chin said, no more adding salt on the wound. =)
