Father's Day

I don't wanna be reminded of yesterday.

It's a norm for us Lee's family for not celebrating Father's Day. I mean, we don't usually celebrate events like this, even when it comes to birthdays. I envy other people who actually have the chance to hug their parents, to hang out with them, or to treat them as their best friend. It's like for us, we outgrew from these stuffs.

When was the last time I've ever celebrate with them? I can't seem to recall the time I've ever given them a present. Let alone received them. It feels awfully awkward to even show that we care for our parents.

I envy my friend when their whole family went out for a late night movie. What about us? The last time was actually during new year's eve.. 3 years ago.

I envy my friend for having their cousins as their best friends. I don't have cousins that I'm actually close with. I only see them a few days a year, during cny or during visits to my grandma's tomb..

Who do I have I wonder?
They all seem to have their own lives. No one is really taking the initiative to actually keep in touch.

Now, there's only 5 members in the house. We still not able to make things right.
Even yesterday, my mom went out herself which none of us knew where during dinner time.

Days has been rough, with my mom practically shooting daggers with my dad, my bro who always complains and always looks down at my parents, me, who have not been helping out in the house.. My sis, who comes home late everyday.

My elder sis is away, studying in oversea.
My eldest sis is in Sg, working. I hardly keep in touch with her for more than 7 years already.

I never really gotten attention by my parents. They have 4 other children to think about. And, I'm definitely not someone they can be proud of.. compare to my other siblings. My uncle has done enough rubbing on that. Somehow, I feel that I spent the most among my sibling..things that happened in the past..

I do love my family though.. no matter what happens.. =)

Even Homer can maintain his family relationship.

Not to forget, The Incredibles!
